Offers 120,000 seats in international seat sale

The Philippines’ largest national flag carrier, Cebu Pacific (PSE:CEB) announced that it will maintain zero fuel surcharges, and proceeded to lower its fares by offering a 50% off seat sale to any international destination from January 29-31, 2011 or until seats last.

For travel from April 1-May 31, 2011, CEB offers 50% off its lowest fares to any of its 16 international destinations.
This destinations are Kota Kinabalu, Taipei, Singapore, Guangzhou, Shanghai, Beijing, Macau, Hong Kong, Ho Chi Minh, Brunei, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Seoul, Jakarta, Busan and Osaka.

“We aim to stimulate even more travel with the 120,000 seats we are putting up for this 50% off seat sale. The airline remains committed to offering the public the most affordable fares, coupled with a 100% brand-new aircraft fleet,” said CEB VP for Marketing and Distribution Candice Iyog.

CEBU Pacific remains the only Philippine carrier to offer fares without fuel surcharges. It first removed fuel surcharges in 2009.
She added,” By maintaining zero fuel surcharges, passengers can easily compare airfare with other airlines. We hope this continues to support the growth of tourism, trade and international travel.”

Cebu Pacific Promo Fares: The Philippines’ largest national flag carrier, Cebu Pacific (PSE: CEB) offers a seat sale to mainland China, Japan and South Korea from January 25-27, 2011 or until seats last.

For travel from April 1-June 30, 2011, guests can avail of P1,888 ‘Go Lite’ seats from Manila to Beijing, Guangzhou and Shanghai.

Meanwhile, P1,999 ‘Go Lite’ seats are available for those going from Manila and Cebu to Busan and Seoul (Incheon). CEB’s newest route, Manila-Busan flights will begin on June 15, 2011.  ‘Go’ seats to Osaka are also up for grabs for only P2,999.

The seat sale fares extend to some of CEB’s 33 domestic destinations, for travel from March 1-May 31, 2011.
CEB offers P488 ‘Go Lite’ fares for those traveling from Manila to Bacolod, Catarman, Cauayan, Cebu, Iloilo, Laoag, Legazpi, Naga, Puerto Princesa, San Jose, Tagbilaran and Tuguegarao; from Cebu to Legazpi and Siargao; and, from Davao to Cagayan de Oro.

P888 ‘Go Lite’ seats from Manila to Cagayan de Oro, Davao and Zamboanga are also available. Guests with check-in luggage will just add P100 to ‘Go Lite’ fares upon booking.

Cebu Pacific Expands Flight Operations by 18% in 2011

Cebu Pacific Targets 35% more international passengers.


The Philippines’ largest national flag carrier, Cebu Pacific (PSE:CEB) plans to increase flight frequencies by 18% in 2011, making available a total of 14.5 million airline seats for its passengers.

“We aim to fly 12 million passengers in 2011, an 18% increase from last year’s targets. Internationally, we plan to grow our passenger base by 35%,” said CEB VP for Marketing and Distribution Candice Iyog.

The airline said it is factoring in an expected 20% increase in passengers to Greater China, where it flies to Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Taipei, Macau and Hong Kong. CEB currently flies 80 flights weekly from the Philippines to Greater China.

Iyog added, “We have also just recently announced the beginning of CEB’s Manila-Busan operations this June. We already fly to South Korea’s 2nd largest city from Cebu, and this new route will allow more tourism and business between the two countries.”

She said that the number of flights to Beijing and Guangzhou will also be increased this year to accommodate passenger demand.

CEB has already added flights to Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, Brunei, Singapore, Ho Chi Minh and Jakarta last December. It is slated to increase flight frequencies to Seoul (Incheon) and Bangkok in the first quarter this year.
“We are expecting the delivery of our 25th brand-new Airbus A320 aircraft in the last week of January, and four more brand-new aircraft in 2011,” she added.

By the end of 2011, CEB will be operating a fleet of 37 aircraft – with an average age of less than 2.5 years – one of the most modern aircraft fleets in the world. Between 2012 and 2014, Cebu Pacific will take an additional 16 Airbus A320 aircraft.

The first low-cost carrier in Asia, CEB currently operates over 260 flights daily to 16 international destinations and 33 domestic destinations. It flew almost 10.5 million passengers in 2010, exceeding targets with a 19% increase over 2009. Its international passengers also grew by 38% in 2010.- Cebu Pacific

The Philippines’ largest national flag carrier, Cebu Pacific (PSE: CEB) offers a Legazpi, Hong Kong, Macau seat sale from January 20-23, 2011 or until seats last.

For travel from February 1 to March 31, 2011, passengers can avail of P499 ‘Go Lite’ seats from Manila and Cebu to Legazpi.

For travel from March 1 to April 30, 2011, they can also avail of P999 ‘Go Lite’ seats from Clark to Hong Kong or Macau, and from Cebu to Hong Kong.

Meanwhile, P1,499 ‘Go Lite’ seats are also up for grabs from Manila to Hong Kong or Macau, and from Clark to Bangkok or Singapore. Those with check-in luggage will just add P100 upon booking.

“These seat sale fares are 57% less for those traveling to Bangkok, as much as 40% less for Hong Kong, and 40% less for Macau,” said CEB VP for Marketing and Distribution Candice Iyog.

“The demand for more CEB trademark low fares to these destinations is very strong, especially to Hong Kong, and we want to encourage even more travelers to book for their business and leisure travel,” she added.
CEB flies to Legazpi from Manila thrice daily, and from Cebu thrice weekly. It operates a Hong Kong service from Manila five times daily, and from Cebu and Clark daily. Its Macau service from Manila is daily as well.

From Clark, the airline flies to Macau four times weekly, to Bangkok twice weekly, and to Singapore daily.
