Cebu Pacific Promo Fare: Offers seat sale as low as P488 to Malaysia


CEBU Pacific Promo: Goes double daily to Kuala Lumpur.


The Philippines’ largest national flag carrier, Cebu Pacific (PSE:CEB) adds four more weekly flights to its direct Manila-Kuala Lumpur service, making it double daily starting January 8, 2012.

CEB currently operates a daily service that leaves Manila at 8:55pm, and a Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday service that leaves Manila at 10:10am.

The additional four times weekly Manila-Kuala Lumpur-Manila flights will depart Manila at 2:00pm every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. The return flight will depart Kuala Lumpur at 6:30pm.

“We are happy to finally increase our flight frequencies to Kuala Lumpur, given the strong demand for direct flights from Manila, not Clark which is two hours away. CEB flights will offer more flight schedule options to business and leisure travelers for their convenience in January,” said CEB VP for Marketing and Distribution Candice Iyog.
Iyog said that CEB holds a Malaysia seat sale from September 20-21, 2011 or until seats last.

For travel from October 15, 2011 to February 29, 2012, passengers can buy seats as low as P488 from Manila to Kota Kinabalu. Meanwhile, they can also buy Manila-Kuala Lumpur seats for P1,488, for travel from October 15 to December 31, 2011.

“Flights from Malaysia to Manila are also on sale, for as low as MYR 134 (from Kuala Lumpur) and MYR 94 (from Kota Kinabalu). CEB will continue to boost tourism and trade in the destinations it flies to with its trademark lowest fares,” she added.

International seats to Macau, Taipei, Hong Kong, South Korea, Osaka, Beijing, Brunei, Guangzhou, Jakarta, Shanghai and Singapore are also on sale until September 21, 2011.

CEBU PACIFIC also puts all its domestic and international flights from Cebu on sale, along with flights from Manila to Cagayan de Oro, Iloilo, Zamboanga, Tawi-Tawi, Boracay (Caticlan), Dumaguete, Iloilo, Kalibo and Surigao, among others.

Cebu Pacific gears up for four brand-new aircraft


The Philippines’ largest national flag carrier, Cebu Pacific (PSE:CEB) takes the delivery of four more brand-new aircraft in the last four months of 2011. Three CEB A320 aircraft are scheduled to be delivered from September to October, while another aircraft is scheduled to arrive in December 2011.

“We are very excited to accept delivery of more brand-new planes, since these will be used to add flight frequencies and destinations for the benefit of the traveling public. It also affirms CEB’s continued commitment to give even more people the chance to travel by air, and to boost tourism and trade in all its destinations,” said CEB VP for Marketing and Distribution Candice Iyog.

CEBU PACIFIC is scheduled to add flights from Manila to Davao (7 to 8 times daily), Tacloban (4 to 5 times daily), Boracay (13 to 14 times daily), Dumaguete (2 to 3 times daily), Naga (3 to 4 times daily) and Cagayan de Oro (6 to 7 times daily), among others.

“We will also launch a new destination, Tawi-Tawi, on October 14, with the start of our Zamboanga to Tawi-Tawi flights. A Cagayan de Oro-Iloilo route will also be inaugurated on the same day. Both these routes will definitely increase access to these key trade and tourism centers in the country,” Iyog added.

The airline also announced earlier that it has ordered 30 new Airbus A321neo and 7 A320 aircraft. The order at list price is valued at approximately USD3.8 billion, the largest single aircraft order ever made by a Philippine carrier. The A321neos will be a first of its type to operate in the Philippines, being a larger and longer-haul version of the familiar Airbus A320.
The said orders for A320 and A321neo aircraft will be delivered between 2015 and 2021. These are on top of firm orders for 18 Airbus A320 aircraft to be delivered from the 2nd half of 2011 until 2014.

It is also scheduled to take delivery of 2 Airbus A320 aircraft on operating lease agreements in 2012.

CEB holds seat sale to 20 destinations for the holidays

The Philippines’ largest national flag carrier, Cebu Pacific (PSE:CEB) holds a seat sale to 20 destinations  from September 13 to 15, 2011 or until seats last. The seat sale allows travelers to book flights for the holidays.

Seats from Manila to Bacolod, Calbayog, Catarman, Cebu, Dumaguete, Iloilo, Tacloban or Roxas, are available for P588. Reduced fares are also available for seats from Clark to Bangkok, Thailand (P988), Manila to Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam (P1088), Bangkok,Thailand (P1988) and Jakarta, Indonesia (P1988). Reduced fares for these destinations are available for travel from November 1 to December 31, 2011.

 “Making travel arrangements for the holidays can get stressful so we encourage everyone to plan and book early. With this seat sale, our guests can enjoy Cebu Pacific’s trademark low fares and make the most of their vacation,” said CEB VP for Marketing and Distribution Candice Iyog.

Other destinations with reduced fares are available for other travel dates. For travel from October 1 to December 31, 2011, passengers can buy seats from Manila to Boracay (Caticlan), Coron (Busuanga), Kalibo, Tagbilaran or Puerto Princesa for P888. The same fare is available for those traveling from Cebu to Siargao. 

For travel from Jan 1, 2012 to March 31, 2012, seats from Manila or Cebu going to Busan or Incheon, Korea are available for only P1888. Seats from Manila to Osaka, Japan are available for the reduced fare of P3550, 50% off the lowest year round fare for this route.

“This seat sale provides 20 destination options for traveling throughout the holiday season. To avoid the long lines at the airport, we encourage guests with check-in luggage to avail of prepaid baggage allowance when booking online for travel savings of as much as 63% on domestic and 72% on international flights,” added Iyog.

Guests without credit cards may also book online and pay through CEB partner banks and payment centers. Other options available to guests who will book online include the seat selector and CEB’s web check-in service.
