Cebu Pacific Flights Remain Cancelled

A few hours ago, following through after the presscon with the President of the Republic of the Philippines, Cebu Pacific has issued a statement that all their flights for both local and international routes remain to be suspended as ECQ is not yet lifted on major cities and main hubs of the airline in the country until May 15, 2020. However, other parts of the country wherein provinces with no or less than confirmed cases of COVID19 is put under general community quarantine. LGUs are expected to still implement their own guidelines of the local quarantine.

The Philippine government has extended the enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) in the entire Luzon that includes the country's capital, Manila until April 30, 2020. This means that the succeeding flights of the Cebu Pacific will have to be suspended especially those scheduled until April 30, 2020. When the ECQ will be lifted, the airline will inform the public especially its passengers through their press release.

So what would the passengers do with their cancelled flights? Let us do check below.

For those passengers that are affected with the flight suspension for both domestic and international flights, they have the option to ask for a Travel Fund with extended 1 year validity and option to refund (if unused after 1 year). But they are not limited to this option only, they can however, rebook their tickets to another date or ask for a complete refund.
